Gammie is such Fun!

Gammie came for a visit and we were spoiled with a week of sweet memories, fun times and a little extra personal time for the parents.  I don't know who loves it more...Gammie, the Boys, or the parents?  Haha!!

Spring is in the Air

Although the weather still fluctuates dramatically, our boys are loving Spring.  One day it will be nearly 80 degrees and the very next we will wake up to snow on the roof...literally, that happened.  But regardless, on the nice days, these two live outside!  They get filthy, but we can't deny boys a chance to play in the dirt and explore their world.  We can't wait for the weather to normalize enough to plant our vegetable garden and flowers!

Big Boy

Jackson has made some monumental trade-ins recently.  He is learning to use a big boy swing and had his crib converted into a toddler bed.  Although we were hoping to wait as long as possible to convert his crib, the necessity became obvious the night Jackson did a somersault out of his crib.  This is how he tells the story: "I just somersault out me crib and got a booboo on me head.  Then I hurt me foot when Mommy opened the door and now I have a big boy bed.  I climb in and out."  Training him to stay in his bed has been a grand adventure for all! His sentiments match the pictures below, while ours is quite the opposite!

Dinosaurs! ROAR!!

Jackson's new obsession is with dinosaurs.  I'm not quite sure what started the new trend, but he got a book called The Lost Dinosaur Bone (a Little Critter Book) from Aunt Lori and Uncle Tommy for Christmas and that became the book that we read at every nap and bed time.  Now the whole family is learning about dinosaurs, we check out books at the library about dinosaurs, the dog gets chased by dinosaurs figurines and he pretends to be a T-Rex at the dinner table. ROAR!!

"The T-Rex are eating the Monster Truck!"

Lining the dinosaurs up by type

This is what Judah things about dinosaurs...

But he has been into "reading" books

"We are God's chosen and special people." -1 Peter 2:9
(He says it much better when he's not distracted by dinosaurs)
