Snow!!

Most of the time the weatherman predicts snow, it's more ice than snow, which means it's more hassle than fun!! This last time, the weatherman was correct.  Not only did it snow, but we got 3.5 inches that stayed on the ground for 3 days!  Sadly, Daddy was working and Mommy had the flu, so Jackson didn't get to enjoy it but for a few minutes.  He was all about walking in the snow and looking at it.  He wanted so badly to pick it up and throw it, but the gloves made it difficult to coordinate.  It was perfect powder for a snow angel and he made such a cute snow angel!!  But the moment he tried to get up, he rolled over to a face full of snow and it went down hill from there.  The snow wasn't fun anymore and all he wanted was to be held!!  I wish I had gotten a picture of his little angel, but it's hard to snap a picture with a toddler crying and squirming in your arms!

Fun with Gammie and Papa at Christmas!

Christmas was so much fun with Jackson!  He actually figured out that under all the wrapping paper was fun toys to play with!  He genuinely gave each and every gift careful consideration and attention before moving onto the next one!!   But the best Christmas present of all was Gammie and Papa showing up first thing when Jackson woke up Christmas morning!

We had pretty cold and miserable weather the week they were visiting, but there was one day that was nice enough to make a quick trip to the park.  Jackson is getting much more independent on the equipment and it's fun to see him grow in size and coordination.  No matter how much fun he is having on the slide or swing, though, he is quick to point out all the cars, school buses and trucks that pass by.

And of course, Gammie and Papa are always fun for playing games and giggles!!

Taking selfies with Gammie!

Jackson loved getting to watch football with his Papa and Dada!  He even went and got a hat so he could be just like them during the game!

Nice Days Mean Trips to the Zoo

Jackson loves his days at the zoo!!  The elephants and giraffes are still his favorite, but as the weather has gotten cooler, we have been able to see many more of the animals moving about, which has been fun!  Just before Christmas, we were blessed with a beautiful day and great company in some new friends, so we went to the zoo.
