We recently went back to Baton Rouge to visit family and introduce Judah to everyone. Jackson has been on an airplane several times, but this is the first time that he is really aware of what a plane. He often times hears and sees planes up in the sky and asks to hold them in his hand. I'm sure his mind was blown when we walked out onto the tarmac and right up into the plane. All we heard that morning was "me cited" (exicted), "fast", and "off" (take-off). He really loved the part where he got pretzels, cookies and apple juice.
One of the highlights of our trip was taking the boys to the Global Wildlife Park, which is a free range zoo of non-predatory animals that you wagon through and can feed. Judah slept almost the entire time, but Jackson enjoyed dropping the food for the animals and watching Daddy and Papa feed the animals straight to their mouths.
Our favorite animals to see were, of course, the giraffes. Elephants would have also been a Jackson favorite, but are not allowed on the preserve as they may charge the caravan wagons.
